My father Clarence Deutsch fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He recently passed away. I wish we would have known about this website before. Over the years he told good and bad stories of the times in war. I think, but am not sure, that he was in the 41st Calvary Recon. He was very close to his grandchildren and we would like as much information as possible about anyone who knew him during the war. I was substitute teaching in a 3rd grade class and they were reading the book "The Flag with Fifty-Six Stars" and I was blessed to hear the 11th Armored Division. The book is incredible. I cried as we finished reading it. Any information would be great!!
