Hello, I have been trying to locate information on my Grandfather. He was a Sgt in the 63rd AIB. He passed away a few years ago and I do not have any information on his service record or any information on him in general. I am trying to locate anyone who may have remembered him and can tell me anything about him. His name is Nicholas John Dietz. He served from November 1942 through December 12th 1945. He received an honorable discharge. I have his VA records, but the archives in St. Louis had a fire in the 80's and cannot locate his records. If anyone remembers him or anything about him I would greatly appreciate any information you could provide.
