This is a picture of my Father, 1st Lieutenant Herbert M Aumann. Served in the 11th Armored Division 491st Field Artillery Battalion. He passed away in 2006. He is so very missed and so very loved. I have found out more about his service to our country since he has passed away, and sad that my Dad never shared much about his experiences in WWII. I have so many questions I'd love to ask him now, many I will never know the answers to. He was a hero.
