Lieutenant Colonel,Harry J. Simon, 94 yrs old, passed away at home in Teaneck, NJ surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 24th 2012. He is survived by his wife Eleanor Simon, his three children and two grandchildren. During WWII he was in the 11th Armored Division and took part in the Battle of the Bulge, European Theater and liberator of Mauthausen in Austria. While he did not talk much of his war experiences, in later years he enjoyed going to Army Reunions and telling stories.
