My name is Anthony Sterlacci. My grandfather was Tech Sgt. Thomas
Sterlacci. He served with the 11th armored during ww2. I am trying to
find out what type of a tank he drove.

He drove a sherman for the 41st Batallion company A commander. I heard
he drove a sherman but he said that towards the end of the war that "we"
I dont know if this is shermans in general or his tank specifically) got
a 90mm cannon.

I now suspect that he actually drove a, m10 (or) m18 then M36 tank
destroyer. This was supported by another story my Aunt heard that my
grandfather drove a tank destroyer.

This brings be to my question. Is there a way to directly look up what
tank/ tank destroyer he drove?
