My great grandfather’s brother, Albert Novey, was in the 11th division’s 21st armored infantry battalion, A company. He died in the Battle of the Bulge during the early days of 1945, although my family has never been able to find out much more about his service than where he is buried. I am involved with an oral history interview project for Veterans, and I have it as one of my goals to locate and talk to a member of his company or battalion who may still be living in the upper midwest, specifically Wisconsin. I would appreciate any leads as to someone from this unit that I could talk to and possibly interview.
