All,
I have done about two years of research on the 778th Tank Battalion, Company C in particular. My grandfather was in the company. Several members on here and several family members have contacted me about their relatives. If anyone so desires, I have stories, tributes, and excerpts from official reports about the unit on my Facebook page. Please come read the stories of these heroes, and if you know anyone who was in the 778th Tank Battalion, I'd like to honor them, whether they were in Company C or not. Thank you.
