(2883) I found my step dad's "Enlisted Record and Report of Separation Honorable Discharge" today. He was apparently severely wounded, during the Battle of the Bulge, on Jan 1, 1945 near Rechrival and was honorably discharged from a hospital in Cleveland, Ohio on July 17th, 1945. He served in the 11th Armored Division, Company C or the 42nd Tank Battalion. He was the only survivor of his tank crew and was awarded EAME Theater Service Medal with Bronze Battle Star and a Purple Heart. I was wondering how I might go about finding more info on his company and even if possible his tank crew and where they might have been buried. Thanks for any ideas you might have.
