My great-uncle, Konrad Lieber, served in the 11th armored division Combat Command A. He died on March 5, 1945 in Germany. The only information our family has about his death is that he was in a tank and the tank hit a land mine while they were crossing a river. My husband and I assume he died while the 11th was crossing the Kyll River. If anyone knew my Uncle Konrad or has any photos of him we would greatly appreciate you sharing this information with us.
